Research after research, colloidal silver gradually proves its powerful healing effect and many are happy with that. Different business enterprises are revealing that simple and safe ionic silver can kill even the most life-threatening pathogens known to man.
In 2001, NVID International Inc., an organization that markets and manufactures patented disinfection technologies, announced that Axenohl was tested and proven its effectiveness in a municipal drinking water in Costa Rica.
Axenohl is a non-toxic antibacterial technology made by NVID that uses ionic silver’s properties to eliminate viruses, bacteria, and fungi without the involvement of traditional disinfectants like chlorine, ammonium salts, phenols, and bromine compounds.
The study was conducted for about 4 months in the municipal water system of Grecia. Grecia is a part of San Jose, Costa Rica having a total population of 60,000. EPA or otherwise known as US Environmental Protection Agency was not against this study since their protocol was followed and all testing were done as described by Waste Water and Examination of Water.
NVID’s objective was to prove the effectiveness and safety of Axenohl as an antibacterial agent in the application of municipal water system. That time, the water supply of Grecia was contaminated with coliform bacteria and was not drinkable.
Coliforms are bacteria found in digestive system of animals and humans and even in their wastes. The total counts of coliform in a supply of water indicate its sanitation condition. During the test, Axenohl proved to regulate and decrease the presence and growth of these bacteria in the network of piping distribution. The people in Grecia decided to continue using Axenohl in their municipal water supply.
David J. Larson, president of NVID International said that the successful test result is a proof that NVID’s ionic silver solution technology has the power to realistically be portrayed as breakthrough disinfectant.
Axenohl can actually stand out with other disinfectant products without creating an adverse effect like the production of Trihalomethanes (THM) which have been said to be carcinogenic.
This only shows that the biocidal properties of colloidal silver are proven to be safe and effective in killing different kinds of bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
The test showed that with 78 parts per billion of silver ions into the water supply of Grecia, all coliform were eliminated. Having a colloidal silver generator can be beneficial to produce sufficient amounts of colloidal silver needed by the community in purifying their water.
